    Here, I will write about my experience writing and reading in the Shaw Script as well as sharing any transliterations or Shavian information I may come across. I also am working on my own Shavian font and have transliterated several of my favorite books and literary pieces. I hope this will become a repository for Shavian information.       Eve Shaw’s Grandmother’s Alphabet tells the reader that Grandma can be anything from A to Z. Each letter depicts a variety of occupations. This is a book geared toward the early reader but not a beginning reader as it has lots of vocabulary words young kids will need help sounding out. the alphabet isn't in order so it doesn't behave like a typical ABC book which is good, because I use it as the last book in my alphabet book unit and by then they have a strong sense of the order of the letters and can make the mental leaps to see what is missing and make good predictions.
